The Park Tool BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Bicycle Brake Bleed Kit - Mineral Oil is designed to bleed most models of mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle disc brakes, including those made by Shimano, Magura, TRP, Tektro, Trick Stuff, SRAM DB8, Campagnolo, Promax, and Clarks. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the braking system, ensuring long-lasting components and peak performance.

Built for the rigors of daily commercial use, the BKM-1.2 kit includes two syringes, hoses with shutoff clips, multi-size bleed blocks, a bleed funnel, and a set of unique mountable syringe holders, as well as multiple hose fittings to accommodate the various standards found on hydraulic bicycle brake systems: M4 x 0.7 mm (Gold) for SRAM DB8, Trick Stuff, and Campagnolo; M5 x 0.8 mm (Purple) for Formula Cura, Tektro, and Hayes; M6 x 0.75 mm (Blue) for Magura; M6 x 1.0 mm (Green) for Promax; M6 x 1.0 mm (Black) for universal use; and M7 x 0.75 mm (Silver) for Shimano.

The kit also includes a full set of replacement seals, and every part is replaceable and available from Park Tool. It is housed in a rugged storage case for easy transport and organization.

It is important to note that the BKM-1.2 is designed for mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle brake systems only. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or in their respective service tools, as cross-contamination of brake fluid may cause seal failure and result in brake failure. For brakes using DOT fluid, the Park Tool BKD-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit - DOT should be used instead.
